Who built BambooBook

BambooBook is built by an independent team focused on helping Mandarin learners read more confidently. We combine language pedagogy with product engineering so learners can spend less time looking things up and more time reading real content.

Learning methodology

Our approach centers on extensive reading with support at the moment of need: pinyin, translations, audio playback, and progress tracking. This keeps reading flow intact while still supporting comprehension and vocabulary retention.

Team background

The team includes product builders and Mandarin learners who have experienced the gap between textbook Chinese and authentic reading materials. BambooBook is shaped by that experience and iterates from direct learner feedback.
